Setting up a good farm for Corrupted Lumenite Crystals in Remnant 2 is essential if you want to have enough of them to upgrade the various weapon mods. Unlike the standard variety, which drop from almost every miniboss you encounter, the distorted versions only come from one source: aberration minibosses. These are the two best methods for farming Corrupted Lumenite Crystals in Remnant 2:
- Defeating Bastion in the Labyrinth.
- Defeating Ripsaw in Losomn.
How to Find and Beat Bastion
For our first Corrupted Lumenite farming method, we’re headed to the Labyrinth. If you have the Labyrinth Staff, you’ve already fought Bastion — the aberration of the lumbering Labyrinth golem minibosses. Like all non-boss enemies, it can respawn without reloading the world. However, because it’s not a trash mob, actually refreshing it takes a little metagaming.
Once you make it to Bastion, kill it for 2-4 Corrupted Lumenite Crystals, then:
- Either jump down to the portal below the aberration’s arena or off the edge to your death.
- Once you appear at the checkpoint, warp back to Ward 13.
- Quit the game to the main menu.
- Load back in and fast-travel to the Labyrinth again.
- Bastion should have respawned, and you can kill it again for more Corrupted Lumenite Crystals.
I recommend using something with high Weak Spot damage like Merciless, but any way you can quickly and consistently kill Bastion will do. In my testing, the whole process took no more than five minutes.
How to Find and Beat Ripsaw
The Ripsaw aberration is unique to the Nightweaver version of Losomn and can only be found in the Morrow Parish section. Without glitching or exploiting, run through most of the level and through either The Great Sewer or Cotton’s Kiln. Defeat the boss there, and proceed to the second area of Morrow Parish. There, you’ll make your way through the sanitorium and out into the courtyard, where Ripsaw is locked in a shed in the corner.

Killing Ripsaw, and the aberrant mobs that spawn with him, is a lesson in patience, evasion ability, and damage output. Unless you can melt him as soon as you regain control of your character, he’ll begin charging at you over and over again, goring you with his chainsaw if he catches you. His health pool is pretty chunky, too, so you’ll need a lot of burst damage to take him out quickly. Deal with the mobs that appear nearby as you can, if only to give yourself more breathing room.
As with Bastion, Ripsaw tends to drop between 2-4 Corrupted Lumenite per kill, but glitchless runs can take as much as 10-15 minutes to complete, depending on how much trouble the middle-point boss gives you.
Morrow Parish Ripsaw Glitch Explained
If you don’t care about breaking the game a little, you can use an odd combination of gear to exploit a loophole in the map to get into the sanitarium courtyard early. First, equip the Cathedral of Omens ring for a slightly longer jump and one of the following Amulets:
- Death’s Embrace
- Full Moon Circlet
- Necklace of Flowing Life
- Ravager’s’ Eye
- Red Doe Sigil
- Talisman of the Sun
With both items equipped, climb up onto the ledge to the left of the courtyard gate. You’ll need to go up a nearby ladder to get up there.
Once above the courtyard wall, dash with the Cathedral of Omens ring shadow step effect from about five feet from the edge. With the extra distance provided by your gear, you’ll jump across and grab the edge of the wall and be able to kill Ripsaw in less than five minutes at most.

As with any farm, how much you can do depends on your tolerance for doing the same thing over and over again for an extended period, but if you need the Crystals, an hour should net you more than enough.
